The operation involved the safe discharge and handling of battery energy storage units, transformers, and supporting equipment destined for the Santong project site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Given the specialised nature of the cargo, which was classified as Dangerous Goods Class 9, comprehensive safety measures were implemented throughout the operation. Through close coordination between Port Operations, Port Police, Port Fire teams, and the project stakeholders, all cargo was handled efficiently and safely in accordance with the required operational and safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The successful execution of this project demonstrates Kuantan Port\u2019s capability in handling complex and specialised cargo, while reinforcing its readiness to support future energy infrastructure developments.
