Kuantan Port is pleased to have participated in the 17th VERITAS Lecture Series 2026, hosted by VERITAS Design Group at Imperial Lexis Kuala Lumpur recently. Centred on the theme ‘Connected Futures: Integrating Malaysia’s Transport Landscape’, the event convened leaders from industry, government and academia to exchange perspectives on the future of Malaysia’s transport ecosystem, with a focus on connectivity, sustainability and digital integration.
Representing Kuantan Port, our Chief Commercial Officer, Encik Mazlim Bin Husin, took part in the panel discussion titled ‘Sustainability and Low-Carbon Transition’. During the session, he shared insights into Kuantan Port’s ongoing Green Port journey, including our focus on strengthening hinterland connectivity and advancing low-carbon logistics. Key initiatives highlighted included support for energy transition cargo, operational digitalisation, the adoption of hybrid equipment, and the integration of renewable energy solutions.
In line with our commitment to advancing Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles across our operations, the forum also provided a valuable platform to engage stakeholders and exchange perspectives on low-carbon and climate-resilient logistics systems.
Kuantan Port extends its sincere appreciation to VERITAS Design Group for organising this meaningful session, and to our industry partners for their continued collaboration in driving sustainable growth and strengthening Malaysia’s logistics connectivity.
