Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn Bhd (Kuantan Port) was pleased to welcome the Chief Executive Officer of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Encik Syamsul Farizz Nadzeri, and his delegation for a visit to Kuantan Port.
The delegation was received by the Chief Operating Officer of Kuantan Port, Mr Chan Weng Yew, Special Projects Director of Kuantan Port, YH Dato’ Indera Khairul Anuar Bin Abdul Rahman, and Business Development Director of IJM Corporation Berhad, Datuk Ir. Dr. Md Zarulazam Bin Md Eusofe.
The delegation was briefed on the port’s development journey, key milestones, operational capabilities and facilities. This was followed by a discussion with Kuantan Port’s management team on the port’s ongoing developments, future projects and initiatives to further strengthen its role as a key maritime hub serving the industrial clusters in Pahang and the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured the operational area of Kuantan Port 2, gaining first-hand insights into Kuantan Port’s cargo handling operations and infrastructure, as well as its potential to support multimodal connectivity through its strategic location in the region.
With Kuantan Port expanding its capabilities, we remain committed to strengthening connectivity, facilitating trade and supporting the growing industrial and economic activities across the East Coast.
